Random Fun Facts
I am a Maritime Canadian and I live in Nova Scotia (on the Bay of Fundy) for part of the summer.
I have 2 grown sons (a mechanical engineer and an investment banker) who grew up on the Montclair soccer and lacrosse fields!
I have a patent for mutations I found in the CMT-X genetic sequence.
My hobbies are landscape design, photography, genealogy and creating edible (!) allergen-friendly snacks.
My yard is a National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat, and I helped Watchung Elementary school attain their NWF Schoolyard Habitat Certification.

I volunteer at the Turtle Back Zoo and Branch Brook Park as a Master Gardener.
​
I was a Girl Scout Leader in Maryland and Florida (before having my sons!).
​
I have moved 22 times and lived in 5 countries
(read that as: I'm a very talented organizer and packer!).
I've been in Montclair since 2000.
