Questions about my Teaching Style
What makes you so different from the zillions of other tutors?
** I teach you HOW to understand the science, then you can
independently do your homework.
** I'm a former scientist so I know how to explain science-- and actually do the experiments.
* I pre-teach some of the concepts so it's easier for you to follow your teacher's lectures.
(you will be THAT student who everyone wants to ask questions/get your notes)
* I'm funny (amusing?)-- an hour goes by and you are shocked that it's time to leave!
* I know sports, cooking, and super random facts so I give great analogies for the problems.

Questions about the Tutoring Process
How does it work? I work one-on-one with students, but please contact me if you require a different situation.
Where do you tutor? I tutor outdoors at my house or remotely using Zoom.
How much does a session cost? The fee varies with the type of tutoring session.
How do we pay you? Remote payments (Zelle) are preferred by the majority of my clients.
How does Chemistry tutoring work?
I recommend that I tutor chemistry students once a week--every week--to keep the students caught up on the material.
I also recommend a set of pre-Chem algebra refresher sessions in August. The teachers hit the ground running in September and everyone is rusty!!
